Dave Robinson could be the biggest fan of Asda’s gnome range with an amazing 62 of the supermarket’s custom gnomes lined up in his back garden.

Dave started his collection last year, buying the Queen gnome from his local store in Hayle Harbour, and has bought almost every gnome the supermarket has released, from the giant gnomes to the smaller versions. The latest additions to his vast collection are the bride and groom incarnations.

Dave has bought his gnomes in store but also online through eBay. His Instagram profile is full of photos of his gnome family and Dave enjoys taking them to scenic locations near his home to capture snapshots of them on a day out.

Dave, 34, works in retail and lives with his partner Jonathan who isn’t the biggest fan of his collection, a feeling seconded by one of his dogs.

Dave said: "It all started last year when my dad came home from shopping at Asda and said, ’You’ve got to see the Queen gnome’. I went to the store and fell in love with her, and bought her straight away. I liked the other royal gnomes too, so I went back and bought them as well.

“They make me very happy just looking at them – they’re so cheerful with their friendly faces. I love them but I am scared to add up how much I’ve spent on them. My parents’ love them and my friends think I’m absolutely nuts but do admit to loving them too."
