The Band of the Royal Marines led the annual Sea Sunday parade in Falmouth at the weekend, and afterwards gave a performance on Events Square.

The event, organised by the Falmouth Royal Naval Association, was described as the "best for many years" as young cadets joined veterans and civic dignitaries to march through the town centre from The Moor. A service was then held at the Parish Church of King Charles the Martyr, led by the Rev Stephen Tudgey.

Afterwards the parade reformed outside the church and marched down to the Watersports Centre in Grove Place via the saluting base outside Trago Mills. While the veterans and dignitaries enjoyed a reception at the centre, the Band of the Royal Marines Band then entertained the crowds at Events Square.

The parade on Sunday was the last civic event in Falmouth for Commodore Jamie Miller, Naval Regional Commander for Wales and Western England, before he retires.
