Trelissick, the historic estate with panoramic views over the River Fal, is hosting two volunteer drop-in sessions to showcase the diverse range of volunteering opportunities that are now available.

The first is on Thursday, June 29, between 11am and 1pm; and the second on Saturday, July 15 between the same times. The sessions will start with coffee and cake at 11am in the Barn restaurant followed by an introduction to the house and parkland, and the staff and volunteer teams that work within them. The sessions are open to anyone who wishes to come and find out more about volunteering with the National Trust.

Jon Cummins, visitor experience and enterprise manager for Trelissick, said: "Trelissick truly comes alive through the efforts of our enthusiastic and passionate volunteers. We have a number of new roles, from engaging visitors and telling them about the benefits of membership to garden guides. There is something available so that everyone can use their existing skills or develop new ones."
