Falmouth School have let the local youth know what sporting options are open to them by hosting the town's first ever community sports fair.

The school has been working incredibly hard to develop links with community sports clubs over the last year and made the decision to host a sports fair on their behalf, which showcased much of the sporting opportunities available to young people in the town of Falmouth.

The sports clubs and businesses in the town of Falmouth work tirelessly to provide sporting opportunities to young people and the event showcased this wonderfully.

Over 60 students ranging from ages four to 15 attended the event along with their families, leaving with leaflets and tokens, excited to try out a range of new sports, with 15 stands from various clubs and businesses attending on the night

Head of PE at Falmouth School, Christy Benney, said: “The event was a tremendous success and I would like to personally thank everyone for attending including the clubs/businesses who volunteer their time week in week to provide the very best sporting opportunities for the young people in Falmouth. Their commitment is inspiring and very much appreciated.”
