Residents and visitors to Falmouth of all ages enjoyed the hospitality of Falmouth and Penryn Churches Together at a community party held on The Moor last week.

The event saw free hot cross buns handed out, along with Easter biscuits, tea, coffee and soft drinks. In addition to the refreshments, there was a chance for the youngsters to join in with some games children's crafts and for everyone to try their hand at a game of giant Jenga.

Jan Winslade, who helped organise the event, said: "Each year, Falmouth and Penryn Churches Together undertake a solemn Walk of Witness on Good Friday and this year it was felt fitting to complete the Easter message by celebrating the good news of Christ’s resurrection by organising a community party on The Moor on Easter Sunday.

"An enjoyable time was had by all, as they sat around tables enjoying the company and listening to the live music in the spring sunshine."
