Naturism at Eden huge success

More than 700 people attended Eden on Saturday to celebrate mid-summer eve - and all were naked. The naturists bared all to enjoy the Garden of Eden celebration - the first time the attraction has been used for such a gathering.

Enthusiasts from all parts of the country and representing all age groups, attended and all claimed it to be a great success.

Attitudes were changing towards nudism, said one group. The event at Eden was organised by Red Letter Days and took place to co-incide with mid-summer's eve.

The evening included a variety of entertainment including face painting, live music and a guided tour of the biomes.
