Falmouth is still trailing in second place in the third annual Great British High Street competition so needs your vote if it is to secure a share of a £100,000 prize pot.

Only three towns are vying for top honours in the coastal towns category, but as it stands Seaview in Cleethorpes is currently in the lead with Prestatyn in Wales trailing in third place.

The Great British High Street competition is a Government-led scheme designed to celebrate the great work that is being done to revive, adapt and diversify the nation’s high streets, focusing on innovative marketing, festivals, evidence of proactive Town Teams and BIDs, volunteer community groups, regeneration and more.

This year’s competition saw a record 900 entries and now that the shortlist has been drawn up, the public has the chance to vote directly for their best-loved place online.
