The Met Office has continued to issue a severe weather warning for Cornwall this afternoon as torrential rain pounds the county.
The warning says scattered, slow-moving showers have the potential to become torrential. Whilst most places will miss them, be aware of the risk of isolated flash flooding where they occur.
Showers in the area from the early hours of Monday have turned very heavy and persistent, with the risk 20 mm in an hour and possibly more than 60 mm over a few hours.
Last month torrential rain brought flooding misery to businesses in Falmouth as flood water poured down Killigrew Street.
