The people of Penwerris turned out for a day of fun and fundraising in support of their local church at its annual fete.
There was plenty on offer at the Penwerris Church summer fete, from bottle, book, bric-a-brac and cake stalls to a tombola and raffle, and teas and coffees as well.
Organiser TriciaPilkington said: "It went very well, we had a nice lot of supporters, and came up with over £700 for church funds."
She added: "We had a bit of everything, a bit of a mixture.
"It was a bit of hard work because we are an ageing congregation, but we got there in the end.
"A nice community afternoon and we are grateful for the support of various people."
