A pub quiz team from the Seaview Inn in Falmouth are to appear on an episode of the BBC2 general knowledge quiz show Eggheads.
The team of locals from the pub in Wodehouse Terrace all regularly take part in the Wednesday night Quizgo, and along with the quizmaster, Alan Oliver, and landlord, Michael Oliver, they have been recorded and are set to appear on the popular show.
The team was organised by Rob Coleman and included Ruth Collins, Peter "Morty" Morton, and Mark Green from the Lyonesse guest house.
Michael said the whole team had a great day and were very thankful to the organisers from the production company, the Eggheads themselves and to Jeremy Vine.
The Seaview team now have to remain tight-lipped about how they got on until the show is screened either later this year or early next. They did, however, reveal that they all "gave very good accounts of themselves and the outcome was very close either way."
