Police in Falmouth are appealing for witnesses to help establish how a man’s ankle came to be broken outside a nightclub in the town.

The man was asked by door staff to leave Club International between midnight and 1am on Sunday, April 24. On the street outside, the man received the injury to his ankle leaving him unable to stand. An ambulance was called and the man was taken away by paramedics.

DC Isabelle Woodall, of Falmouth CID, said: “Although there is partial CCTV coverage of this area, the circumstances of this incident are unclear. There were however lots of bystanders and if anyone can help shed light on how this man’s ankle came to be broken, we would very much like to hear from them.”
