Children from Mullion Primary School had a lesson in helping those in need during a recent vision from the local village foodbank.
The Waves and Starfish classes at the school discovered what goes into a box of food provided by Helston and the Lizard Food Bank during the recent visit.
Jenny Jackson, of Helston and the Lizard Food Bank, said: "Many pupils were surprised to learn that Mullion has a food bank.
"It is based in Mullion Chapel, opposite Boots the chemist, and is open every Friday morning from 10am to 12pm.
The foodbank organisers said anyone in need of help with food should ring Steve Swann on 240 200 or Lyn Kibblewhite on 290 634 or mobile 0789 123 6096for a free delivery service, leaving a message if no-one is available.
