Firefighters were called to Chapel Hill in Truro yesterday after a report that a young child had been accidentally locked in a car.
Firefighters from Truro Community Fire Station quickly released the child just after 11am, with a spokesman saying the infant had "suffered no ill-effects and was left in care of the mother".
