Falmouth firefighters are inviting local charities and community groups to apply for a share of the £7,500 raised at their fireworks, but they only have until Monday.
The display, held at Falmouth Cricket Club and organised by Falmouth Fire Station Social Club, attracted around 5,000 people who had opted for the safety and convenience of an organised event.
Any organisation or charity who would like to be considered for a donation from the profits should write, describing their cause and how the donation will be used.
Requests should be sent to the secretary of the Falmouth Firefighters’ Social and Welfare Club at Falmouth Fire Station, Trescobeas Road, Falmouth, TR11 2LQ, to arrive no later than Monday, December 1.
