A trapped motorist was rescued by firefighters after a crash on King Edward Crescent in Newquay at around 5.20pm yesterday.
Fire engines from Newquay and the rescue tender from Bodmin were sent to the single vehicle collision, where one person was trapped.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Firefighters used crash rescue equipment to release the casualty who was placed in the care of Ambulance personnel."
