Zachary James Sharpe, of Dracaena Avenue in Falmouth, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge by magistrates sitting at Bodmin after he admitted stealing two bottles of Jim Beam whisky worth £40 from Tesco at Camborne.
The 26-year-old was also ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge.
