Police were called to a fight in Penryn’s main street on Friday evening allegedly involving a baseball bat and what “looked like a crow bar.”
Officers received a call at around 7.45pm to report three or four men fighting in Higher Market Street, near the Seven Stars pub on The Terrace.
Rob Brinkhof, the pub landlord, said: “There was a couple of youngsters fighting each other, I’ve never seen them before.
“They had a baseball bat and a crow bar, it looked like a crow bar. The police came down about half an hour later.”
A police spokesperson said: “There was a group of men fighting on the main street. A male was reported with a baseball bat. We searched but couldn’t find them anywhere. The log’s been closed, unless something comes up from CCTV.
“A group of lads was hanging around, but they dispersed.”
