St Francis School raised £1,500 with its summer fair in spite of being forced inside by inclement weather for the fourth year running.
Children and parents enjoyed singing by the school choir and a performance from Dance Confidence Cornwall, including members who are pupils at the school.
Stalls included a tombola, raffle, face and nail painting, and a lucky squares board which earned almost £100 with a new hoover prize donated by Euronics of Penryn.
Helen Vosper, chair of the Friends of St Francis School, which organised the event, said: “There was an amazing amount of help and support from parents and teachers running all the stalls.
“It gave a wonderful, family fun atmosphere within the school, even though it was wet.”
