Mylor Local History Group is hosting a coffee morning at Tremayne Hall on Saturday, 26 July, with proceeds going to the RNLI and NCI (National Coastwatch Institution) both of which will be represented at the event which starts at 10am.

At 10.30am, local author Martin Banks will give a still and newsreel illustrated talk following the recent publication of his book, The Mysterious Loss of the Darlwyne: A Cornish Holiday Disaster which tells the story of the sinking of a pleasure boat and the loss of 31 lives. Martin will be signing copies of the book afterwards.
