Complaints have been received over the current state of Helston’s Coronation Lake.
Cornwall councillor Andy Wallis, whose division the lake is in, said “quite a few” people had spoken to him and as a result he had contacted Cormac and the county’s environment team.
He said they would look at dredging the lake again and perhaps do something with the paved area known as Events Square, where the swans make mess.
However, he acknowledged it would need “a lot more investment” to bring it up to full standard.
