The Poly’s campaign to upgrade its systems from 35mm film to digital has received a funding boost after Falmouth Town Council agreed to grant it £1,000.
The money will be used as part of the cinema’s £43,000 move to modern, digital film, which will improve the range of films it can show.
Councillor Steve Eva said: “They kept things going for the town when we didn’t have a cinema; it might be time |we repaid that when they’re |in need.”
