A dog rescued from a life of neglect in Romania and adopted in Cornwall has won a grooming session and Pets at Home vouchers with the Packet’s Star Pet competition.
Kiki, who was adopted by owner Lucy Downing in March, was presented with £100 worth of vouchers by the manager of the new Falmouth store, Phillippa Haines, and she will also get one free grooming session at the centre.
Lucy said: “I’m very pleased, and very grateful for the vouchers. They will be used for food and treats, and Kiki is looking forward to the grooming voucher.”
Kiki was saved from Romania by the Silver Fox Rescue Centre, and has been living with Lucy for three months now. She has also proved to be a popular visitor at Falmouth’s Age UK day centre, where Lucy is the manager.
