Detectives are investigating an alleged assault in Liskeard which left a man with a fractured skull.
The 49-year-old Liskeard man was assaulted during a fight involving three other men in the Cornish Ivy pub around 12.30am on Sunday, July 6.
The altercation then continued five minutes later near to the Fountain Hotel when the victim was approached by two of the offenders.
He was head-butted by one man and fell to the floor where he was kicked in the head.
The victim was taken to hospital where he is recovering from a fractured skull.
A 22-year-old man from Liskeard has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. He has been bailed until September 22.
Police are appealing for information and are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the fight in the pub and the subsequent assault in the street.
