Firefighters were called to a fire at two terraced houses in Penryn on Friday, with one person pulled to safety before the crews arrived.
Crews from Falmouth fire station, one fire appliance from Truro fire station and one fire appliance from Helston fire station were called to a reported house fire at the rear of The Terrace, Penryn just after 9.30pm on Friday.
The fire involves two terraced properties consisting of two floors and measuring approxmately fifteen metres by fifteen metres.
The Control unit from St Just fire station was also called in to help.
Two hose reels and four breathing apparatus sets were used to fight the flames, with water supplied by a nearby hydrant.
One female was rescued before the arrival of firefighters.
