Thefts reported to Falmouth Boat Watch

Several marine related thefts have been reported to Falmouth Boat Watch in the last week.

Between June 5 and 14 a 5HP Yamaha outboard marked with "ROBBINS TR36"on the underside of the engine cover was stolen off a mooring near Falmouth Yacht Marina. The reference for this crime is CR/083083/14.

A black/grey 2.5hp 2 Stroke Marina outboard engine was stolen from a boat shed in Flushing between June 16 and 25 June, and the crime reference for this incident is  CR/084950/14.

And a long shaft Blue 4HP Yamaha outboard engine with integral fuel tank was reported to have been taken from a locked garage near Constantine. This incident has the crime reference CR/84133/14.

Anyone with information about any of these crimes is requested to call the Boat Watch team on 101 quoting the relevant reference number.

Boat owners can currently get branded Devon and Cornwall Police outboard engine covers from Macsalvors Boathouse, Robin Curnow’s, Helford River Boats and Mylor Chandlery.
