The Friends of Penmere Station in Falmouth were presented with a cheque for £50 from Asda in Penryn at the weekend after the group won the support of shoppers at the store.
The money will go towards new eye catching plants which the small and enthusiastic band of volunteers will install at the station over the coming months.
Pictured are Asda’s Bernadette Snow presenting the cheque to the Friends of Penmere Station’s Karl Hewlett, Steve Lloyd and Brian Philpotts.
