Two women charged with adding turmeric powder to dried porridge and excessive amounts of salt to prepared soup in order to harass someone have had their cases discontinued.
Chloe George, aged 21, of Bonecellars Row, Tresillian, and Christel Rideout, aged 33, of Station Hill, Chacewater appeared before magistrates in Truro on Monday.
They were there to face charges against harassing Madeline Jones by spiking food that was intended for her to eat, during February at Feock.
However, after a submission by the prosecution the magistrates granted discontinuances in both cases.
