Emergency crews called to three vehicle crash on A30: Road closed

Emergency crews have been called to the A30 Helland Junction after a serious three vehicle crash. Crews from Bodmin, Lostwithiel and Launceston are attending the collision.

Crews have released one trapped casualty using crash rescue equipment and police and ambulance staff are at the scene.

The A30 eastbound is closed, with queueing traffic between A38 Launceston Road (Callywith) and Millpool Lane (Preeze Cross).

The westbound carriageway has now re-opened after the road was closed in both directions.

Eastbound is still expected to remain closed for some time. Diversion: Via the A38
