The latest in an annual series of lectures celebrating contemporary Cornish culture, Raising Glasney, will be held at Penryn Town Hall on May 14 at 7.30pm.

One of the lectures, Plen an Gwari: the Playing Places of Cornwall, by Will Coleman, will explore Cornish language, traditional music and culture, based around medieval Cornish theatre tradition.

Lori Diggle, a researcher at Falmouth University, will present a talk titled Anecdota: Glasney, Trevisa and the Secret History of Unpublished Things, based on her work on Glasney College and medieval translator John Trevisa.
