One casualty has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at a caravan at Trevarrian, Newquay .
Several calls were received from members of the public alerting firefighters to the fire yesterday just after 4.30pm.
Appliances from Newquay and St. Columb were mobilised and found a caravan and tent involved in the blaze.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two jets to extinguish the fire, which also involved cylinders.
Westcountry Ambulance were requested to treat one casualty for the effects of smoke inhalation.
