The Meudon Hotel, situated between Maenporth and Mawnan Smith, is opening its gardens to the public between 2pm and 5pm on Sunday, April 13, in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care.
“The gardens at this time of year are beautiful with flowering shrubs and the pathway through the gardens takes one down to the cove and the sea at the bottom,” said Christine Morris of Cornwall Hospice Care’s Falmouth Support Group. “After the walk, people can sit down and enjoy a cream tea which will be served in the hotel restaurant.”
Entrance to the gardens will cost £2.50 and cream teas £3.50. There will also be a raffle. Dogs are welcome, but only if on a lead and their owners clean up after them.
