A man who pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates’ Court to possessing £200 worth of cocaine did not use drugs, his solicitor Jeremy Leaning said.
Jake Jensen, aged 22, of Springfield Park, Bells Hill, Mylor, had drunk too much on a night out with a friend and had “stupidly” bought the drug. If sober, he would never have done it.
Jill Wilson, prosecuting, said the drug had been found on Jensen in five one-gram packets when police searched him at 2am in Falmouth.
Jensen was fined £180 and ordered to pay £105 costs and surcharge.
