A Camborne man will appear at Truro Crown Court accused of thefts from a junior school in the town.

Dean Karl Lennox, age 33, of Basset Street, is accused of entering St Meriadocs Junior School on December 14, and stealing cash and an Apple iPod with a total value of £430.

He is also accused of stealing a Dell tablet computer to the value of £455 on December 1.

Lennox indicated guilty pleas for both crimes and has been sent to Truro Crown Court for sentencing.

Unless he broke entry into a closed school, which it does not say in the article, I would be more concerned that an unauthorised person can walk freely around a junior school without being challenged. I think safety measures should be in place at all times.
