No support for three storey Penryn home plans
2:00pm Saturday 19th October 2013 in Cornwall
Penryn councillors are opposing current plans for a new three storey house to be built on land next to 51 Woodland Avenue in the town.
While members said that they had no objection in principle to a new home being built on the land, they do not like the scale of the one being proposed by Gerald Thomas.
Councillor Mark Snowdon said: “You would have a line of bungalows and then a three-storey house.
“In my view it would be over-bearing to say the least. It is out of kilter with the street scene.”
