Tazer used in Looe arrest after man attacked

 Police are appealing for information after an assault took place in East Looe in the early hours of Sunday 14 April 2013.

At around 2.10am a white van stopped in Fore Street, East Looe outside the Co-operative store. A young white man climbed out of the passenger side of the vehicle and assaulted another man who was stood amongst a large group of people.

Police attended and a Taser was used on the alleged offender.

A 22-year-old man from Liskeard has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently on police bail until 30 April.

A police spokesperson said: “This was an unprovoked attack and we urge anyone who witnessed this to come forward.”
