Keep fit ladies give £1,900 to blind association

Cornwall Keep Fit Association has raised £1,900 for the Cornwall Blind Association through a sponsored walk around Trelissick Garden.

The walk, which was held in May, was started by the Bishop of Truro, the Rt Rev Bill Ind, who is patron of the association. A cheque was presented to John Warner of the charity last week.

Cornwall Keep Fit Association, includes women from all over Cornwall and members decided to give the money to the blind association which works tirelessly for and with Cornish people with visual impairment.

The association is currently celebrating its 150th year.
