Fayre funds for Mullion Football Club repairs

There are hopes at Mullion Football Club that an upcoming Easter Fayre on Sunday will raise funds for much needed repairs to the club house roof.

The club will host the event this Sunday (March 24) and hopes to raise enough money to renovate the roof that leaks badly in wet weather.

The fun will start at 12.30pm and families can enjoy a range of activities including Easter-themed games, craft stalls, face painting and a raffle with an Easter hamper for first prize.

Art will be on display by children from Mullion Primary School, with prizes being awarded for first, second, and third place.

During the afternoon, a free football coaching workshop on the field will be provided by two of the club’s managers.

An Easter egg hunt will also take place around the grounds with a prize for the winner.

Young visitors will also have a chance to be creative in the free children’s craft corner.

Children are also being asked to design and take an Easter Bonnet to be entered into a competition which will be judged at 3pm.
