Bomb threat stuck on Truro building

Police have confirmed that a threatening message was taped to the outside of a building on Charles Street, Truro this morning.

The note, mentioning an explosive device, sparked a police operation shortly after 7am, with a specialist team of officers carrying out a search, which found no explosives.

An investigation has been launched.

I wonder who leaves a note saying 'explosive device' rather than 'bomb'.

That's a bit like holding up a bank and saying 'this is a projectile firing implement with finger activation', hand over the money.'

Probably a very erudite terrorist who hasn't made his mind up as to what explosive device to use.
