Mullion Methodist Monday Club will be providing refreshments at this weekend’s farmers’ market in the village, to fundraise for charity.
Club members will be selling “winter warmer” soup with bacon and sausage sandwiches, using meat provided by one of the market’s producers, to raise funds for the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
Usually the market has a cafe selling cakes and biscuits made by producers.
This Saturday (February 16) marks the first farmers’ market of 2013, taking place at Mullion Comprehensive School between 9.30am and 1pm.
There will be the usual stalls selling bread, meat and fresh fish, cakes, cheeses, vegetables and plants through to curries and chocolate.
Anyone else wanting to use the charity stall space, or who would like to bid for a donation for their local cause, can call 01326 241216 or visit website www.mullionfarmersmarket.co.uk
