Truro shed fire suspected arson

A fire at Maiden Green, Truro near the Pizza hut close to Truro College is suspected to be arson.

Firefighters were called out 4:58pm yesterday, with one appliance from Truro extinguishing a small rubbish fire in a single storey shed using a hosereel.

A fire service spokesman said arson is suspected and that the police had been informed.

There seems to be a spate of such fires recently, probably fuelled by the success of the red-hot book "50 sheds a day"
