Four parcels of land in and around Redruth are set to go under the hammer next month.

They are among 18 lots being sold by regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson and the sale also include areas in Camborne and Mylor Bridge.

Two of the plots are in West Tolgus on either side of Kingdom Hall and both offer the potential to be developed.

The first covers a grassed over 0.62 acres (0.25 hectares) and is priced at £20-30,000, with potential to be used an allotment or a garden extension for a nearby house.

The other plot covers 0.25 acres (0.1 hectares) and is near modern housing, with a guide price of £20-40,000.

A further Redruth plot is in Telgos Close, Shallow Adit, with potential to be used as a garden extension or off-street parking, or even residential development providing all permissions are obtained. This lot has a guide price of £15-20,000.

The last of the four is a 0.9 acre (0.36 hectares) parcel of land in Tolskithy Lane, Illogan Highway.

It contains wooded and grassy areas and could be used for horse-keeping or agriculture.

In Camborne a plot is being auctioned without reserve at 35 Church View Road.

It sits among houses and might appeal to those seeking extra garden or parking space, but there could be other uses subject to the correct consents being obtained.

Auctioneer Scott Gray said: “Each of these plots has its own potential and could prove to be extremely useful to own. Obviously those living near to the land might have a particular interest, but they all present opportunities.”

Also at the sale will be a slice of land in the village of Mylor Bridge near Falmouth adjoining No 7 Meadowbank.

It sits next to a pair of semi-detached houses and could be used for residential development if all consents were first obtained.

The auction takes place at the St Mellion International Resort on February 7 from 11am.
