I think he should forget making video s as he just is so boring , what a boring person , he must be in love with his own voice . i very much doubt if he is Cornish , more likely Polish .

That's a shame.

Try and do something positive rather than slag off other people, eh?

Sick of Caroline Quentin but more sick of the stupid rantings of this silly man.

Hey Jane, so it's all right for you to slag off Alistair for his legitimate comments then?

Jane Joneser says...

I haven't slagged him off.

At the risk of being accused of being a negative slagger-offer, if more videos like this of his get publicity, a campaign could well start against him rather than against CQ. I can't believe many people, no matter how 'Cornish' they might be, would find that laugh-out-loud funny and might at best muster a wry smile or two. And the other one featuring the QC impersonator is of a pretty low standard too. I'm sorry but the material isn't strong enough so they were just not worth making or at least not worth linking to on this site.

I don't think anyone could accuse

Pressed submit by mistake on my last post.

I don't think anyone could accuse you Lord Barrington Forbes-Smythe of being a negative slagger-offer.

In fact it sounds like something at a supermarket, buy one get one free, negative slagger- 'offer'

Unlike the video, your comment about the supermarket produced a lol in me at least, Gill

Watched the video for a whole 90 seconds, that was enough for me !! LBFS you are definitely not a negative slagger-offer.

I think the video is subjective and runs along the lines of a personal autobiography as opposed to giving a proper insight into Cornwall or an area in Cornwall. I personally would say the jewel in Cornwall is Bodmin moor.
I think the cream of the video is the end.

My wife bought us both tickets to see the Kernow King at the Events Square in Falmouth last year. He was hilarious. The best entertainment I have seen for ages.
He explains the wonders of the Cornish universe using anecdotes and real life observations .
This guy could be bigger and better than Jethro if given the chance. He has many other clips on Youtube - Check them out.

Anybody that is Cornish who doesn't find him funny must have had a sense of humour bypass.

Cheers and gone.

I am Cornish, but havent lost my sense of humour, just because you think he is hilarious, doesnt mean everyone else does. Each to their own.

What a strange philosophy you have, I certainly have not had a sense of humour bypass, different people particularly those of different age groups have different concepts of humour. There are many different comedians on TV or stage etc and various people have their own choice of which they believe are best or the funniest. Some people do not find any stand up comedians funny and yet they still possess a sense of humour. You could even categorize humour into groups such as funny, adult, childish, or unintelligent if you so wished, and there again, each category could be appreciated by different people or maybe not appreciated at all. If everyone liked the same thing then we would all be robots. I personally made no reference to humour one way or the other with the above video, I simply made the observation that it is more along the lines of his subjective opinion of an area and because he states he was born there, to me is along the lines of an autobiography as opposed to a graphic description of an area.

Look forward to seeing your version KernBear!

I've also seen him live and he is hilarious. These video's are just a bit of fun and I'd imagine that Kernow King and his followers are having a right laugh at you guys taking this so seriously.
