A look back at Helston in the late 80's: PICTURES

We have had a bit of a rummage around in the Packet's old photo archive, and decided to bring you a little look back at the area in the late 1980's

First up, members of Porthleven Bowling Club and the chairman of Kerrier District Counci, Grant Hart, and Mrs Hart at the opening of the club’s new clubhouse extension.

Next are two pictures of Helston’s Battle of Britain parade participants

In this picture, Patrick Rowbrey of Helston receives his blood donor gold medal from consultant Paul Seargeant and Gwen Russell of the British Red Cross. 

Here youngsters put in some practice at Cury School’s guitar club.
