December saw a rise in crime in the St Keverne parish, with six crimes reported.
This was higher than in the same month the previous year, according to PCSO Julia Berry in her report to the parish council.
Crimes included a burglary at a building development, although little of value was taken, and criminal damage to a vehicle.
Two boat engines were stolen and although this was still being investigated, PCSO Berry said there a possibility of a positive DNA match.
Other crimes included a theft from someone’s home and a common assault/battery that was under investigation.
