All hands to the pump for Boxing Day chimney fire in Mullion

Six firefighters from Mullion resorted to some good old fashioned elbow grease yesterday to put out a chimney fire in a house on Clifden Close.
The crew got the call just after 5.30pm and used a hose, hand-powered stirrup pump and extendable rods to douse the flames in the flue.
