Big band spectacular at Epworth Hall

Visitors to Helston’s Epworth Hall on Thursday can be sure of a big band spectacular thanks to a special charity fundraising concert.
Cornish Roots, a band made up of 20 local musicians – including the skilled current and former members of Helston School Jazz Orchestra – will be performing on Thursday, November 29 from 7.30pm.
Musical students from Helston Community College will also be joining the musicians for a special vocal performance on the evening.
All the money raised will be shared between the Epworth Hall and Cornwall Music Therapy Trust.
There will be a raffle and licensed bar as part of the evening.
Tickets are now on sale at Heathercraft in Helston, costing £7 or £5 for concessions.
