An award-winning Christmas walk is making its way back to Tehidy Woods this year ready for the festive season.

Rogue Theatre's Winter Wood is a theatrical festive woodland adventure created for families and those who "still believe in magic".

After passing through the Woodland Gate, visitors follow a candlelit path and are led by "faeries" and "woodland spirits" who tell stories and sing songs.

The "enchanted path" leads to Old Man Winter’s Travelling Theatre Tent, where a heated show with live music, festive stories and free hot chocolate offers a warm place to relax with sparkly face painting and the chance to make your own traditional winter decoration to take home.

Angelina Boscarelli, director of the Winter Wood, said: "After having such a magic time in the woods in 2011 we are very excited to be back in the woods this year.

"The Winter Wood mixes all of my favorite things about Christmas, walking in the woods, spending time with family, plenty of sparkle and glitter, magic and of course hot chocolate."

The project kicks off on December 8 and will take place twice a day until December 30, apart from the 13th, 19th and 25th.

The first show starts at 4pm and the second at 6.30pm.

Tickets cost £7.50 per person and three years or under get in free.
