Phone fine for Porthleven rugby player

Using his mobile phone while driving through Helston landed a Porthleven rugby player with a hefty fine and points on his licence, this week.

Ross Stuart Kitto, aged 34, of Parc An Maen, was ordered to pay a £200 fine, £80 costs and a £25 victim surcharge at Truro Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

His licence was also endorsed with three points for the offence, which he committed on August 23.

Seems a bit unfair picking out just one mobile phone user.

I've seen numerous drivers on the phone, including taxis, and the police seem to ignore them
