THREE workers at a centre which cares for adults with autism have raised £1,000 for new equipment.

Judith Pearson, John Hutchinson and Jade Herbert from Brent Knoll’s Somerset Court plunged 15,000ft from a plane in aid of the National Autistic Society.

Judith, senior practitioner of Cotswold House, said: “It was an amazing experience and nothing like I have ever experienced before.

“I was in freefall for one minute at 120mph – it was very fast!

“It was very chilly in the air but I obviously enjoyed it as I was smiling all the way down. A big thank you to all who have supported and encouraged us.”

Cash will go to funding dispensary equipment for residents at Somerset Court.
