Pensioner, 85, dies after car crashes off A38 near Taunton
A PENSIONER died after his car left the road on the A38 near Taunton.
The 85-year-old man was found dead at the scene of the collision in Bathpool last night (October 17) at 5.30pm.
Police said the man's VW Golf was seen swerving from side to side before it left the road and crashed down an embankment before coming to rest.
It is not yet clear what caused the car to crash - any witnesses should call police on 101.
